Parallax is revolutionizing the robotics industry through hyper-realistic simulations that allow companies to test advanced robots virtually before deploying them into production. We combine the latest in 3D computer vision, simulation, and robotics technologies to bring robots from limited demos into the real world.

We are iterating through our pilots and are looking for talented summer interns to join us as we grow quickly. Your work will directly impact how quickly robotics companies can test and deploy robotics applications in real-world scenarios — improving their safety, efficiency, and reliability at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Help us build the backend for the world’s first AI Agent for robotics simulations.
- Design scalable APIs and data pipelines to support high-throughput robotic systems.
- Help deploy and monitor cloud-based GPU systems for high-fidelity robotics simulations.
- Build and test backend services for simulation and digital twin platforms.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a BS, or MS in Computer Science, EE, or a related technical field.
- Experience working with Python (Flask or similar frameworks).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and backend deployment practices.
- Understanding of technologies like Redis, blob storage, and NoSQL databases.
- Interest in building AI agents, high-performance compute and GPU-backed workloads.
- Interest in infrastructure security best practices, such as SOC 2 standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
